Providing our clients with the opportunities to obtain or reinstate their driver's license, this is important because it provides an opportunity for so much in life. It allows them to commute to and from school, work, church, or other venues.

DUI School/Risk Reduction School

The idea behind Bell's DUI Drug Risk School is to help people get their lives back on track once they have lost their license due to getting a DUI. We teach them about high-risk choices and the consequences of making high-risk choices. It is a chance for us to help our community by educating on high-risk choices and the risk of alcohol and drug use choices.  For more than 25 years, our agency has worked with drivers to develop their ability to make low-risk choices, help them assume greater responsibility, and gain the freedom to drive again to resume a normal
sense of life.

Our Services

It is always amazing to see how youth excel when provided the opportunity. Our programs do just that
- allow youth to excel.

Defensive Driving

Held at least once a month, Bell's DUI Drug Risk School teaches the defensive driving classes allowing clients to reinstate their driver's license(s) or have points removed. Classes are either 1- 6-hour session or 2- 3-hour sessions.

Drivers Education

Classes consist of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of driving instruction. The course is designed to show the basics of driving and will be a solid base for your beginning driver's ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Ignition Interlock

The Ignition Interlock Program allows people who have been convicted of DUI to have the device placed in their vehicle and they receive a limited permit to operate to and from work and other state specified activities. This allows them a limited ability to drive.

An Ignition Interlock consists of a hand-held device similar to a cellular phone in design. It attaches a breath-alcohol analyzer to a vehicle's ignition system. The vehicle operator must complete a breath test measuring BrAC (Breath alcohol concentration) below .02% (Georgia Law) before the vehicle can be started. The device also requires random retests while driving.
